May the month of officers’ seminars at Hartmann Crew Consultants

ISN & DTM senior officers’ seminar at Gdynia starting on 7th of May 2014 took place 3 days senior officers’ seminar of Intership Navigation and Donnelly Tanker Management. In one room gathered 80 participants and lectors – it was so far the biggest seminar organized in Poland. But not the number but quality matters – this seminar was a full success, touching many interesting subjects: where the Hartmann’s Group stands in today’s market; update on implementation STCW 2010; new in-house operational; administration and quality procedures; requirements of today’s training and crewing; P&I issues; development of CMS vessels’ version; ECDIS; case studies from Fednav, UBC, UPT, HPL; refreshment training of HIMP; PSC and vetting’s analysis. It was a complex and well conducted meeting. On 15th & 16th of May in Szczecin Feederlines will conduct their in-house seminar, where crew will be familiarized with: Purchasing with GLSM; Feederlines KPI 2013 and 1st Q; Fleet Manual 2014; crewing issues; Hatch cover problems on L Class; Vetting with ENEL; case studies by MTL. On 21st and 22nd of May HSKG called a “Dayang seminar” – seminar focused on engineers working on board - or rather – in engines of “Dayang” containers. This seminar will be organized for the second time in Gdynia and is aimed to discussed and clarify daily issues which engineers meet on a/m vessels and their machinery.
