Crosby Sanger Course in HCC Gdynia

On 14th of November, for ABs of Hartmann Offshore, in The Gdynia Maritime School was carried out a course implemented by the Sanger Metal (representative of The Crosby Group). The course concerned the theoretical and practical issues related to the construction, principles of operation of lifting equipment. An important element of the lecture were safe and reliable operation of the slings and their permissible safety weight load. The main emphasis has been placed on the use of lifting equipment in the offshore segment. The lecture ended with an interesting discussion, in which the ABs presented a number of comments approximating the specific nature of the use of lifting equipment on offshore vessels.
