Hartmann Group Senior Officer Seminar, Gdynia May, 2013
On the 22. And 23.05.2013, the Hartmann Group welcomed the leading staff of our various vessels in Gdynia, for a seminar in the Hotel Nadmorski. Target of the seminar was, to discuss important “hot” topics, such as the present situation of the Polish Seafarers within the Hartmann Group, the implementation of MLC, safety matters on board, and many more. The topics were presented by speakers from within the Hartmann Group, and additionally capt John Cowan from Canada shared his expertise in Ice Navigating, and Capt Zbigniew Bycinski from the Gdynia Maritime School gave a close update on what impact the implementation of MLC has, and will have, on the training and certification of the seafarers. The presented topics sparked lively discussions, both in the seminar rooms and in the hotel’s corridors during the breaks, which shows that the presentations have been well received. We would like to thank all speakers and attendees for their participation.
